The first is BGMI India Series (BGIS) and the second is BGMI Pro Series (BMPS). As of July 2022, BGMI crossed 100 million downloads on Google Play Store. The Indian government banned the game in India on July 28, 2022. According to a statement by Krafton, the ban was lifted on May 26, 2023.
